GreenUp Order Steps

  1. Step 1: Check whether your flight is eligible for GreenUp (the GreenUp program is only available on selected routes)
  2. Step 2: Submit your GreenUp offer. If its successful, you will be charged according to the offer amount given and receive confirmation within 7 days to 2 hours before departure.
  3. Step 3: Once the GreenUp transaction is confirmed, you will enjoy the benefits of your upgraded trip.
  1. The following terms and conditions apply to offers submitted for seat upgrades to GreenZone+ or GreenZone on Citilink Indonesia flights.
  2. You must already have a Citilink Indonesia plane ticket with confirmed ticket status first.
  3. You must be at least 12 years old and willing to meet the passenger criteria to make a GreenUp offer. You will be deemed to have the authority to make an offer on behalf of the passengers list included in the same booking code.
  4. The GreenUp program is not applicable to infant passengers, passengers under 12 years old or children, and passengers with special needs.
  5. Passengers may only submit one offer for each flight segment according to the ticket and the offer must be made using a credit card payment method. Citilink Indonesia determines the minimum and maximum offer value.
  6. If passengers purchased tickets from Citilink Indonesia’s official Offline and Online Travel Agent partners and want to submit a GreenUp offer, then the offer must contain your or other passenger’s name who are included in the same booking code.
  7. The offer will only apply for the flight segments mentioned in the seatupgrade@citilink.id email you received or you can check whether upgrades are available for your flight segment via https://upgrade.plusgrade.com/offer/Citilink by entering booking code. Citilink Indonesia reserves the right to determine the routes that apply for upgrades.
  8. Citilink Indonesia has the right to unilaterally decide to accept or reject a passenger’s offer and passenger may not file a claim or complaint to be able to change seats regardless of the availability of the requested seat.
  9. Eligible passengers can make an offer by:
    1. Access the GreenUp invitation link from seatupgrade@citilink.id email, maximum 2 hours before departure time,
    2. Access the GreenUp invitation on the order confirmation page at citilink.co.id, or
    3. Visit Citilink Indonesia GreenUp and enter the booking code and passenger’s last name in the fields provided.
  10. You can still change, modify, or cancel the offer at any time up to 2 hours before departure time as long as the offer has not been confirmed as successful by Citilink Indonesia. Once the offer is confirmed as successful by Citilink Indonesia, passengers are legally bound to complete your payment according to the price stated in the final offer and you may not withdraw from the GreenUp upgrade.
  11. If Citilink Indonesia re-accommodates a passenger's flight to another flight for any reason, the GreenUp offer will be transferred to the new flight, depending on the availability of the requested seat.
  12. Passengers may submit an offer until 2 hours before departure time. If Citilink Indonesia accepts your offer, the credit card registered will immediately be fully charged. Then Citilink Indonesia will issue a new booking document or travel itinerary stating that the passenger has applied for a GreenUp offer. Citilink Indonesia will notify the total amount of fees that must be paid including taxes before passengers submit an offer.
  13. Citilink Indonesia GreenUp will appear on your credit card bills. You agree that you cannot reject or dispute the bill if the name that appears on the credit card bill is Citilink Indonesia GreenUp.
  14. There will be no refunds or reimbursements charged to passenger credit cards when the GreenUp offer is confirmed as successful by Citilink Indonesia, except in the following conditions:
    1. The flight on which your offer was accepted for GreenUp is canceled and the requested seat is unavailable on the re-accommodated flight by Citilink Indonesia. In this case, the amount paid for GreenUp will be returned to your credit card and Citilink Indonesia will have no further obligations to you.
    2. The seat upgrade offer is accepted, but you can't sit on the requested seat due to reasons caused by Citilink Indonesia, such as a change in aircraft type, or a delay in connecting flights which causes you to miss the plane; except for reasons caused by your personal negligence which result you to miss your flight and having to change your flight.
    3. You are entitled to a refund by the applicable provisions.
  15. Approved fee refunds will be processed in the currency corresponding to GreenUp's fees when previously charged.
  16. If you change your plane ticket, Citilink Indonesia has no obligation to provide the requested seat, unless you pay for the upgrade in accordance with Citilink Indonesia's standard change policy as well as conditions and policies relating to the original ticket fare.
  17. Citilink Indonesia may amend these Terms and Conditions.
  18. These terms and conditions must be read carefully, Citilink Indonesia's failure to exercise any of its authorities will not be considered a waiver or relinquishment of the exercise of that authority in the future.
  1. What is Citilink Indonesia GreenUp?
    GreenUp is a collaboration program between Citilink Indonesia and Plusgrade that allow passengers to make offers for a seat upgrade to the front zone, namely GreenZone+ or GreenZone.

    *This program applies to selected routes and does not apply to codeshare with other airlines.
  1. Who can participate in the GreenUp program?
    If you have a Citilink Indonesia ticket for an upcoming flight, then you are entitled to submit a GreenUp offer, unless:
    1. Passengers with group tickets,
    2. Passengers with reward or FOC (free of charge) tickets,
    3. Passengers traveling with infants and/or children,
    4. Passengers with special needs, and
    5. Unaccompanied minors (UM).
  1. Can I make a GreenUp offer?
    Citilink Indonesia will invite eligible passengers by sending an e-mail via seatupgrade@citilink.id to participate in the GreenUp offer. This invitation e-mail will be sent 7 days to 2 hours before the departure of the first flight in the reservation for international and domestic flights.

    For Citilink Indonesia ticket holders who do not receive an invitation, please check your eligibility to submit an offer via the GreenUp landing page by entering your last name and flight booking code.
  1. Does GreenUp apply to all my flights on my reservation?
    GreenUp is only available for flights selected routes, meaning this service is not yet available for all flights. Only flights mentioned in the e-mail seatupgrade@citilink.id can participate in the GreenUp offer. A flight that is not mentioned in the e-mail means that GreenUp is not available on that flight. Each flight is independent of the GreenUp program.
  1. What should I do when I receive an email containing a GreenUp offer invitation?
    To start submitting an offer, click the link from the e-mail then follow the steps.
  1. Do I need to make offers for all my flight segments? What if I only want to make an offer for a certain flight segment?
    Offers do not have to be submitted for all flight segments offered. You can choose to offer only on a certain flight as each flight is unrelated to another.
  1. There are several passenger names within one booking reference. Why is only one passenger name receiving the offer email?
    Invitations are only sent to the primary contact of each flight reservation code. Even though this invitation is only sent to one passenger, this offer is intended for all passengers with the same reservation code. The offer number will be multiplied by the number of passengers in the same reservation code.
  1. What happens if one reservation code consists of several passenger names, but only a few are interested in making a GreenUp offer?
    If only some passengers on one booking code wish to make an offer, please contact the Citilink Indonesia Contact Center 0804 1 080808 for the booking separation process. After the booking code is successfully separated, please check your GreenUp offer eligibility again via the GreenUp landing page by entering your last name and booking code.
  1. Will I receive a SMS containing confirmation if my offer is successful?
    No. You will not receive a confirmation SMS from Citilink Indonesia, but you will receive an e-mail containing the offer status. Your credit card provider may send an SMS with transaction information.
  1. What will happen if my offer isn’t accepted?
    You will receive a confirmation e-mail maximum of 2 hours before your departure time informing them that the offer was unsuccessful. No amount will be charged to your credit card and you can still travel with your original ticket.
  1. Why do I get credit card transactional information even though my offer was unsuccessful?
    The transaction information is only a notification of the credit card authorization process from the credit card provider, even though the transaction is not yet charged when the billing statement is issued. Deductions will not be made if your offer is not accepted by Citilink Indonesia.
  1. Can passengers who do not purchase RegularZone offer an upgrade with GreenUp?
    Yes. In the GreenUp program, passengers who already have Citilink Indonesia tickets on certain routes and meet the GreenUp requirements can participate in the GreenUp offer.
  1. Can I determine the amount I want to pay for GreenUp myself?
    Citilink Indonesia has determined the minimum and maximum nominal limits for offers that can be submitted. The system will reject offers that are below or above this limit.
  1. Does the offer submitted include the total additional fees that will be paid with the ticket price I previously paid?
    No. The nominal bid is an additional fee that will be paid if you successfully win the GreenUp offer.
  1. What is the use of the Strength indicator on the offer page?
    The strength indicator shows the strength of your offer, but this does not guarantee offer success.
  1. Can I make a different GreenUp offer amount for each segment of my trip?
    Yes. You can submit a different offer amount for each eligible flight.
  1. Are there any taxes and fuel surcharges that must be paid for GreenUp?
    All offers include taxes and surcharges.
  1. Will the time factor of the offer submission affect the probability of a successful offer?
    No. GreenUp assessment is not influenced by the time of offer entry.
  1. What payment methods are accepted for the GreenUp program?
    Only credit cards with VISA, MasterCard, and JCB logos can be processed for GreenUp transactions.
  1. When will my credit card be charged a GreenUp fee?
    You credit card will only be charged if your offer is successful. There will be an email  notification sent within 7 Days to 2 hours before your departure.
  1. Do I have to enter credit card information even though the chance of winning a GreenUp is uncertain?
    Yes. You must provide your credit card information when submitting a GreenUp offer. We require this information to simplify your GreenUp transaction and it is stored securely with the payment processor to be used only when your offer is successful.
  1. What are the criteria that determine the success of an offering?
    The success of an offer depends on several factors, such as:
    1. Offer amount,
    2. Offers from other passengers on the same flight,
    3. Recent offer success history, and
    4. Number of seats available for GreenUp.
  1. Can I change or cancel an offer that has been made?
    Yes. After submitting your offer, you will receive a confirmation e-mail stating that your offer has been saved in our system. You can change or cancel your offer via the link contained in the confirmation e-mail up to 2 hours before departure time as long as the offer has not been approved by Citilink Indonesia. If the offer is confirmed as successful by Citilink Indonesia, you are legally bound to complete payment according to the price stated in the final offer and you have no rights to withdraw from your GreenUp offer.
  1. If I want to change the credit card information I have previously entered, what should I do?
    Currently, you cannot edit your credit card information. If the offering process has not closed, you can cancel your original offer and submit a new one with new payment details.
  1. I received an email notification that my credit card was declined for the GreenUp transaction. What should I do to continue offering?
    You will receive a notification email from Citilink Indonesia if your registered credit card is rejected by the credit card provider (for credit card validity, insufficient credit card limit, etc. reasons). The e-mail provides 2 options that can be done, (1) after you resolve the credit card problem with the provider, please click on the link provided to inform Citilink Indonesia that the credit card is no longer in trouble and can be used again or (2) if you decide to use another credit card to continue the GreenUp process, please click the link to enter another credit card information.
  1. What if I need to change the flight I have submitted a GreenUp offer to? Can I transfer the GreenUp offer to my new flight?
    GreenUp offers are non-transferable, but you can cancel your previous offer and try to offer one on your new flight schedule.

    You will receive a new GreenUp invitation for your new flight schedule. However, if you do not receive the GreenUp participation invitation email, you can visit the GreenUp landing page to check whether you are still eligible to participate in the GreenUp offer. If yes, you can make an offer again on the new flight schedule.
  1. Can I transfer the GreenUp offer to another flight if my offer has been successful?
    Successful GreenUp offers are non-transferable, non-refundable, and valid only for the flights and dates displayed in the confirmation e-mail.
  1. Can I cancel my GreenUp transaction if I cancel a flight with a successful GreenUp transaction?
    You can cancel your GreenUp offer, but there will be no refund fees for offers that have been declared successful.
  1. I want to change or cancel the offer, but the system does not allow me to change or cancel the offer. Why does this happen?
    Your offer may have been accepted by Citilink Indonesia and we are currently processing the GreenUp offer.
  1. When will I receive information about my offer?
    You will receive an e-mail about your GreenUp offer status within 7 days to 2 hours before departure time. If the offer is unsuccessful, you can still travel with your original ticket without any additional costs.
  1. Who can I contact to find out more about my upgrade offer?
    If you have any questions about the GreenUp offer or transaction process, please visit the GreenUp landing page or contact us via WhatsApp Ask Linka at 0811 1011 0808 or Contact Center 0804 1 080808.
  1. What if I want to cancel the offer that has been submitted due to an error in submitting the offer amount?
    You can still change or cancel your submitted offer no later than 2 hours before departure time. After 2 hours before departure, you cannot change or cancel the offer for any reason.

    Please check your e-mail inbox regularly after submitting a GreenUp offer to receive a confirmation e-mail. Double-check the offer amount and message listed in the e-mail.
  1. What if the flight is diverted to another flight or airline for any reason that is not my fault? Will I still be able to enjoy GreenUp?
    1. If your flight is transferred to another flight that is still a Citilink Indonesia flight, the offer will be transferred to the new flight if there is still availability on the desired seat.
    2. If your flight is diverted to another airline, the GreenUp offer will be canceled and the paid GreenUp fee will be returned to your credit card.
  1. What if my flight is canceled by Citilink Indonesia? Am I entitled to a refund for both the initial seat reservation and the GreenUp offer that has been accepted?
    You are entitled to a refund, credit, or replacement following applicable tariff terms and conditions. Please submit a fee refund to refund.involuntary@citilink.co.id if you have not received the refund per Citilink Indonesia's refund provisions. Refunds will be sent to your credit card.
